DUBAI, Sept 4 (AFP) - An Islamist group has taken a Turk hostage in Iraq and is threatening to kill him unless his firm stops cooperating with US troops, Dubai-based Al-Arabiya TV said Saturday, airing footage of the alleged captive.
The captors, who call themselves the "Islamic Resistance Movement - Noman Brigades," have threatened to kill the hostage "unless the company for which he works undertakes to stop cooperating with US troops," the news channel said.
The purported hostage was shown by the TV, with a banner carrying the group`s name in the background.
