Ak Party Delegation Meets Syrian Baas Party Delegation

BEIJING - Justice and Development Party (AK Party) delegation met Syrian Baas Party delegation on Friday during the Third International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP) in Beijing, China.
The delegation, comprised of AK Party Secretary General Idris Naim Sahin and deputy leader Saban Disli, took up the visit of Baas Party delegation which will be paid to Turkey in October.
Baas Party Vice-Secretary General Abdallah al-Ahmar said that they were expecting the visit of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Syria with excitement.
Turkish delegation asked for the support of Syria for holding the next conference in Turkey.
Participants will discuss regional security and multilateral cooperation, economic growth and social progress, and political party and country development during the conference.
More than 80 parties from 35 different countries attended the conference.
