ANKARA - Peter Stegniy, the Russian Ambassador to Turkey, said on Thursday that his country was grateful for Turkey's understanding attitude over postponement of Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to Turkey.
Stegniy told reporters that his country was also grateful for the support Turkey extended after the terrorist attacks in Beslan city of North Ossetia.
The Russian ambassador did not say anything clear about when Putin was planning to pay a visit to Turkey.
