ANKARA - Peter Briner, the chairman of the Swiss Federal Parliament's Cantons Assembly Wing Foreign Policy Commission, and accompanying delegation visited European Union's (EU) representative office in Turkey on Wednesday.
Swiss delegation, paying a visit to Turkey as the official guest of Parliamentary Commission of Foreign Relations Chairman Mehmet Dulger, met EU Commission's Representative to Turkey Hans-Jorg Kretschmer.
The delegation also met International Monetary Fund's (IMF) Representative to Turkey Hugh Bredenkamp.
Later, Swiss delegation also had a meeting with Central Bank Deputy Governor Erdem Basci.
Sources said that the delegation was informed on economic developments in Turkey and preliminary studies about the country's EU process.
Swiss parliament delegation is expected to depart from Turkey on Friday.
