ADAPAZARI - The Civil Court in Adapazari released Koksal Coskun, the chief of the train which derailed in Sakarya in July, the lawyer of engineers said on Wednesday.
Experts completed their report on the non-stop train accident in Pamukova town of Sakarya.
Sources said that Turkish State Railways (TCDD) was found guilty (4/8) according to the report prepared by experts. The first engineer Fikret Karabulut was also found guilty (3/8) while the second engineer Recep Sonmez was found guilty in a lesser extent (1/8).
Ismail Gurses, the lawyer of the engineers said that train chief Koksal Coskun was released, since he was not found guilty.
A non-stop train derailed near Pamukova town of northwestern province of Sakarya on July 22, killing 38 people and injuring 80 others.
