HABUR - Turkish engineers, who were kidnapped by insurgents in Iraq and then were released, arrived in Turkey late on Monday.
The engineers Ali Daskin and Abdullah Ozdemir have entered Turkey via Habur border pass in Silopi town of eastern Sirnak province at 09.30 p.m. yesterday.
Insurgents who kidnapped Daskin and Ozdemir urged the companies where these two Turkish engineers were working to leave Iraq within 72 hours. SA-RA and Usluel companies released an urgent statement in which they said that they decided to withdraw from Iraq.
