Mine Explosion Derails Five Cars Of Train In Bingol

BINGOL - Five cars of a freight train derailed when it ran over a land mine planted on railway in Genc town of eastern province of Bingol late on Sunday.
Bingol Governor Vehbi Avuc told the A.A correspondent that five cars of freight train carrying goods from Tatvan to Elazig province derailed when it ran over a land mine, noting that locomotive engineer of the train was injured in the explosion.
Avuc said that there was not any passenger in the freight train, adding that an investigation was launched.
Injured engineer was taken to a hospital.
