Two Turkish Engineers Released In Iraq

ANKARA - Two Turkish engineers who were earlier taken hostage in Iraq were released, sources said late on Sunday.
Diplomatic sources told the A.A correspondent that engineers, Ali Daskin and Abdullah Ozdemir, who were working for Usluel and SA-RA companies were released at 15.30 local time on Sunday.
Daskin and Ozdemir were brought to Turkish Embassy in Baghdad.
Turkish Foreign Ministry Spokesman Namik Tan said that Daskin and Ozdemir were expected to arrive in Turkey on Monday.
Insurgents who kidnapped Daskin and Ozdemir urged the companies where these two Turkish engineers were working to leave Iraq within 72 hours. SA-RA and Usluel companies released an urgent statement in which they said that they decided to withdraw from Iraq.
