ANKARA - A Swiss Parliamentary delegation which will be headed by Peter Briner, the chairman of the Swiss Federal Parliament Cantons Assembly Wing Foreign Policy Commission, will arrive in Turkey, sources said on Sunday.
The delegation will have a meeting with Turkish Parliamentary Foreign Affairs Commission Chairman Mehmet Dulger and commission members on August 31st. They will later meet Parliamentary Commission for Adjustment to the European Union (EU) Chairman Yasar Yakis.
Turkish Parliament Speaker Bulent Arinc will receive the delegation and they will also meet Turkish Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul the same day.
Swiss delegation will have meetings with Hansjoerg Kretschmer, the Head of Representation of European Commission to Turkey, International Monetary Fund (IMF) Representative Christoph Klingen and Central Bank Deputy Governor Fatih Ozatay on September 1st.
The delegation will proceed to eastern Erzurum province and hold meetings on September 2nd. They will later meet Istanbul Governor Muammer Guler and the administrators of Turkish-Swiss Chamber of Commerce on September 3rd in Istanbul. The delegation will depart from Turkey the same day.
