ERZURUM - Meteorologists warned Friday against frost and ice as dry and extreme cold weather prevails in eastern Turkey.
The minimum temperature was measured minus 36 degrees Celsius in Erzurum, minus 31 in Agri and minus 24 in Kars.
Meteorologists said that snowfall was expected in the region starting Sunday.
