ANKARA - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his Israeli counterpart Ehud Olmert held "a fruitful and comprehensive meeting" in Ankara on Monday, said a statement from Erdogan`s press office.
The statement said the two premiers discussed bilateral relations, the situation in Gaza and Israeli-Palestinian peace process as well as Syrian-Israeli peace talks.
Olmert departed from Turkey after his meetings with Turkish President Abdullah Gul and Premier Erdogan.
