Turkey's Premier Meets Iraqi Vice President

ISTANBUL - The prime minister of Turkey had a meeting with the vice president of Iraq in Istanbul on Sunday.
Turkey`s Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan met Iraqi Vice President Tariq al-Hashimi in the Prime Minister`s Office in Besiktas neighborhood, and discussed the developments in Iraq, Prime Ministry sources said.
Al-Hashimi thanked Erdogan for Turkey`s interest, assistance and solidarity in treatment of people who were wounded in recent terrorist attacks in Iraq.
Erdogan and al-Hashimi also reaffirmed the two countries` commitment in cooperating against the terrorist organization PKK.
