Iraqi Prime Minister Maliki To Visit Turkey

BAGHDAD - Iraq`s Prime Minister Nuri Al Maliki will visit Turkey on December 24.
Iraqi Prime Ministry Press Undersecretary Yasin Mecid told AA on Friday that Maliki would go on a short trip touring Iraq`s neighbouring countries.
Maliki will be accompanied by members of his cabinet during the trip which aims at utilising the joint committees Iraq formed with its neighbours.
Mecid said Maliki would meet Turkey`s President Abdullah Gul, Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan and other high level officials during his stay in Turkey.
Maliki will later proceed to Iran.
