ANKARA - Turkey`s Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Thursday that the "e-State Gateway" project aimed at reducing bureaucracy, and helping the state deliver faster and better service to its citizens and the business world.
Delivering a speech at the inauguration of the e-State Gateway project in Ankara, Erdogan summarised the project as the moving of public services provided in physical environment to the electronic environment.
Erdogan who regarded the project as a revolution said the long ques at the public institutions were about to become history.
"All our citizens who use computer at their houses started accessing public services over the internet. Our people who had to spend hours and days, and make long travels between cities for simple procedures in the past, are able to access certain services from where ever they are at present," said Erdogan.
