Presidents Of Turkey, Bulgaria Attend Luncheon Hosted By Turkish Union Of Chambers

ANKARA - Turkish President Abdullah Gul and Bulgarian President Georgi Parvanov attended a luncheon hosted by the Union of Turkish Chambers & Commodity Exchanges (TOBB) in Ankara on the occasion of Turkish-Bulgarian Business Forum meeting.
Delivering a speech in the luncheon, Gul said trade volume between Turkey and Bulgaria had amounted to 1 billion U.S. dollars in the past, but they now were talking about a trade volume more than 10 billion U.S. dollars.
Turkish and Bulgaria businessmen should establish more partnerships and develop joint projects, he said.
There was need to exert more efforts in order to create new opportunities between the two countries, Gul said.
In his part, Parvanov said commercial relations between the two countries have been developing in a dynamic way and both countries pursued an active policy.
Bulgaria had an attractive investment and business climate, he said.
