Turkish Jets Hit P.K.K. Targets In North Of Iraq, General Staff

ANKARA - Turkish General Staff said Wednesday that Turkish jets hit terrorist organization PKK/KONGRA-GEL targets in an air-strike conducted in the north of Iraq on Tuesday.
Turkish warplanes hit Wednesday the targets belonging to terrorist organization in Qandil region, General Staff said in a statement published on its web-site.
The statement said Turkish jets returned to their bases safely after the strike, adding that only the terrorist organization was targeted and utmost attention was shown not to harm civilians during the operation.
