Chinese Ambassador Visits Anadolu Agency

ANKARA - The newly appointed Chinese ambassador in Ankara Gong Xiaosheng paid a courtesy visit to Anadolu Agency (A.A) headquarters on Tuesday.
During the visit, Hilmi Bengi, Director General and Chairman of Executive Board of A.A, said that the rapidly improving relations between A.A and the Chinese news agency Xinhua would contribute to the improvement of relations between Turkey and China as well.
"Technological developments in communication force us make our cooperation compatible with the developing technology," Bengi said.
Speaking during the meeting, Gong said that concrete steps should be taken in order to improve the relations between Turkey and China.
Gong also said China supported the constructive role Turkey played for peace and stability in its region.
