ANKARA - Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs thanked Friday Indian authorities for their efforts to rescue the Turkish nationals who were trapped in a hotel after the deadly attacks in the Indian city of Mumbai.
Releasing a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that three Turkish nationals, who were taken hostage by Indian terrorists during the attacks, were rescued by Indian security forces on Thursday and Friday.
The statement said that Turkey appreciated Indian authorities' efforts to rescue the Turkish hostages and their cooperation with the Turkish embassy in New Delhi during the process.
