ANKARA - Turkish Prime Minister and deputy chairman of the Supreme Islamic Iraqi Council, who met in Turkish capital on Thursday, discussed relations between Turkey and Iraq, as well as fight against terrorism, officials said.
Ammar al-Hakim, the deputy chairman of the Supreme Islamic Iraqi Council, told Turkish PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan that he supported Turkey's fight against terrorism.
"Your pain is our pain. We support your fight but let's carry it out together," Al-Hakim was quoted as saying by the diplomats who asked not to be named.
