TIRANA - Armenia's Foreign Minister said on Thursday that his country was optimistic about Turkish-Armenian relations.
Speaking to A.A in the Albanian capital of Tirana, Armenian Foreign Minister Eduard Nalbandian said that Armenia worked for the normalization of its relations with Turkey.
He said efforts were underway to open the border between Turkey and Armenia and to establish diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Nalbandian also said that he was hopeful for the future of Turkish-Armenian relations.
Commenting on the recent talks held by Turkey, Armenia and Azerbaijan in New York, USA, Nalbandian said the parties might get together again.
Noting that the "Caucasus Cooperation Platform" was on the agenda of the talks between the countries, Nalbandian said such a platform would contribute to the stability and security in the region.
