Trade Keeps Growing In Islam World, Turkish Persident

ISTANBUL - Turkish President Abdullah Gul said on Wednesday that trade and investments kept growing in the Islam world.
Gul attended a dinner held on the occasion of the "12th Congress of the International Business Forum" organized by the Independent Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (MUSIAD) in Istanbul.
Delivering a speech at the dinner, Gul said that not only the politicians and statesmen, but also the businessmen, tradesmen and industrialists of the Islam world got closer recently.
"Trade keeps improving in the Islam world. The number of investments are increasing as well," Gul said.
Gul also said that Turkey's commercial relations with its neighbors and the Islamic countries improved remarkably during the last 5 years.
"Turkey's investments increased as well," Gul said, adding that the number of Turkish investments in Egypt, Syria and other Islamic countries increased significantly.
Gul also said that states and governments should create an available environment for investments by developing financial opportunities and offering investment guarantees.
