ANKARA - The Central Bank of Turkey raised its year-end inflation expectation on Wednesday.
The bank made public its periodical expectation survey, and raised its year-end inflation expectation to 10.45 percent.
Accordingly, the consumer prices index (CPI) will be up 0.05 points and reach 10.45 percent.
The inflation expectation was 10.40 percent in the previous survey.
The bank dropped the year-end current accounts deficit expectation to 51,008.6 million USD. It was 51,089.7 million USD in the previous survey.
The year-end USD expectation was up from 1.3619 to 1.4823 new Turkish liras (YTL), and the growth figure expectation was down from 3.6 to 3.4 percent.
