SANLIURFA - The Second Business Forum of the Union of Black Sea and Caspian Confederation of Enterprises (UBCCE) has began in the southeastern Turkish province of Sanliurfa.
Theme of this year's two-day forum held under the chairmanship of Turkish Industrialists' & Businessmen's Association (TUSIAD) is "Discovering Investment Opportunities of Southeast Anatolia".
Making opening remarks of the forum, Turkish State Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Nazim Ekren said that the venue of the forum was also an important part of the Southeast Anatolia Project (GAP), the fourth biggest regional development plan in the world.
The forum brings together not only the business community of the Black Sea and Caspian region, but also some high-level officials from Turkey and representatives of several international organizations interested in the region.
UBCCE is the first non-governmental and voluntary business organization of the Black Sea and Caspian region. The first forum took place in Baku, Azerbaijan, last year.
