ISTANBUL - Dutch insurer Aegon that acquired Turkey's Ankara Emeklilik has entered Turkish life insurance and pension market.
Aegon said it aims to become one of top five insurers in Turkey in the next five years.
Aegon's chief executive officer Gabor Kepecs said his company would seek any opportunities, including new acquisitions, to grow in Turkey.
Ankara Emeklilik, with over 54,000 pension fund members, was managing about 35 million euros.
