Head Of Regional Administration In Iraq Says Talks With Turkey To Continue

IRBIL - The head of the regional administration in north of Iraq said on Monday that talks with Turkey would continue.
Massoud Barzani, the head of the regional administration in north of Iraq, said that the administration would go on having talks with Turkey both in the region and Turkey.
Barzani told reporters that a new page was opened in relations with Turkey, and said the path for dialogue was also open.
Barzani said Turkey had taken a step to boost relations, and this was the first meeting between the head of the regional administration in north of Iraq and a Turkish delegation.
The regional administration and Turkey would discuss in detail their problems in upcoming meetings, Barzani said.
Barzani told reporters that the two parties did not discuss special demands regarding the terrorist organization PKK or any other issue, and said those issues would be debated in detail in the future.
Murat Ozcelik, Turkey`s special envoy to Iraq, met Iraqi President Jalal Talabani, Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and Massoud Barzani in Baghdad last week.
