ANKARA - Turkish chambers association`s head was elected for the fifth time a member of the executive board of the Eurochambers (the Association of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry), a statement said on Monday.
A statement released by the Union of Turkish Chambers and Commodities Exchanges (TOBB) said chairperson Rifat Hisarciklioglu was elected a member of the executive board of the Eurochambers at the 104th General Assembly that took place in Belgian capital of Brussels on October 15.
After the election, Hisarciklioglu said Turkey should speed up its EU accession process.
TOBB has been working with its partners in EU member states for Turkey-EU civil community dialogue, Hisarciklioglu said.
