ANKARA - Turkey's bridges and toll roads that would be privatized by the government earned 386.7 million YTL (256 million USD) in the first nine months of this year, Turkish General Directorate of Highways said on Sunday.
Two bridges --linking Europe with Asia over the Istanbul Strait-- yielded 125.56 million YTL, while toll highways produced 261.13 million YTL.
Revenues from bridges and toll roads, which reached 522 million YTL in 2007, are expected to stand at more than 500 million YTL at the end of this year.
