Gates Corporation To Invest In Turkey

ANKARA - Gates Corporation, one of the world's largest manufacturer of automotive and industrial products, decided to invest in Turkey.
Gates Corporation will establish facilities in Gebze and Tuzla (districts of Istanbul) and Izmir Free Trade Zone. Gates is planning to lay the foundation in the last quarter of 2008, and start production in 2010.
The facilities will meet the increasing demand of European automotive sector.
Gates Corporation is working at 60 spots in 25 countries. Its annual income in 2007 was 5.8 billion USD.
