TERCAN/CANAKKALE/EDIRNE - Turkish security forces arrested 139 illegal migrants in separate operations on Saturday.
Gendarmerie teams caught 53 illegal migrants in Tercan town of the eastern province of Erzincan.
In another operation, coast guard teams intercepted 55 illegal migrants aboard two rubber boats off Aegean coastal provinces of Canakkale and Balikesir. Officials said illegal migrants were on their way to Greece.
In a separate operation in the northwestern province of Edirne, gendarmerie and border patrol squads arrested 31 illegal migrants.
Two Turkish human traffickers were detained in operations.
All illegal migrants would be deported, officials said.
