Solution Of Cyprus Issue More Possible Today, Turkish Cypriot President

LEFKOSA - Turkish Cypriot President Mehmet Ali Talat said on Saturday that solution of the Cyprus question was more possible today compared to the past.
Delivering a speech at a meeting in Lefkosa, Talat said, "we have to solve the Cyprus problem now. Therefore, we should use all our talents and get the support of the international community as well".
Talat said that the meeting he had with the Greek Cypriot leader Demetris Christofias on Friday went quite well.
"Both Turkish and Greek Cypriot parties assured each other that they would work for a solution in the island," Talat also said.
Turkish and Greek Cypriots leaders met Friday for the third time after they agreed last March to launch substantial talks to reunify the divided Mediterranean island.
Talat and Christofias have decided to meet once every week. The two leaders are set to meet on Monday and they will continue to negotiate administration and power sharing.
