ATLANTA/ANKARA - Turkish state minister said on Saturday that Turkish exporters should focus on the U.S. market now.
In an exclusive interview with the A.A correspondent, State Minister Kursad Tuzmen said financial crisis in the United States could yield new opportunities for Turkish businessmen. "It is the right time for our businessmen to work with the United States. They can buy chain stores or brands in USA," he stated.
Tuzmen also said that the U.S. Congress had decided to extend generalized system of preferences for one more year and it was a favorable development for Turkish exports.
