Turkey Is In Good Condition Against Global Financial Crisis, World Bank Vice President

WASHINGTON D.C. - World Bank's vice president said on Friday that Turkey was in good condition against global financial crisis.
Shigeo Katsu, Vice President for Europe and Central Asia, delivered a speech at a briefing on economy in Europe and Central Asia within the scope of the annual meetings of IMF and World Bank in Washington D.C.
Replying to a question on possible impacts of global crisis on Turkey, Katsu said Turkey was an interesting country which restructured and modernized its economy in the past seven years after going through a serious economic crisis in 2001.
Turkish economy was more powerful now, Katsu said.
