Turkish Higher Education Board Head Holds Talks In Pennsylvania

NEW YORK - Head of Turkey's Higher Education Board (YOK) and an accompanying delegation held a series of talks in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania on Friday.
YOK chairman Prof. Yusuf Ziya Ozcan met with officials from Delaware Technical and Community College and discussed cooperation opportunities such as exchange of students and academicians.
After completing their talks in Pennsylvania, the Turkish delegation headed by Ozcan proceeded to New York.
During the weekend, the delegation will hold talks with officials from the State University of New York (SUNY), New York University (NYU) and Columbia University.
The delegation is expected to depart from New York for Turkey on October 16.
