ANKARA - A large group of terrorists were neutralized as they were trying to infiltrate into Turkey from the north of Iraq on Thursday night, said the Turkish General Staff in its weekly press briefing on Friday.
Turkish jets hit a crowded group of terrorists as they were about to infiltrate into Turkey to stage acts of terrorism, and neutralized a number of them, told the General Staff.
168 outposts have been constructed until the year 2008 and 13 outposts are still under construction, said the General Staff.
We have no problems regarding the financing of the construction of new outposts and will construct 162 new outposts in 2009, said the General Staff.
