Turkish Year-end Inflation Expectations Down, Says Cbank Poll

ANKARA - Turkey`s year-end inflation expectations fell to 10.40 percent, a central bank survey showed on Thursday.
According to the survey of expectations, the consumer price index was revised by 0.30 points to 10.40 percent, from an earlier 10.70 percent in late September.
The survey showed that predictions on year-end current account deficit were down to 51.089 billion USD, from 51.156 billion USD.
The twice monthly study, which surveys economists and experts in the financial sector, also predicted a rise in expectations for end-2008 U.S. dollar rate to 1.3619 YTL, up from 1.2806 YTL.
Expectations on Turkey`s year-end growth rate also declined to 3.6 percent from an earlier 3.9 percent forecasting.
