Intelligence Sharing Between Turkey And U.S. Continues, Ambassador

ANKARA - The top diplomat of the United States in Ankara said Wednesday it was not true that intelligence sharing between Turkey and the U.S. had stopped.
Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Ambassador Ross Wilson said that the U.S. and Turkey had effective cooperation against terror for about the past one year.
We are working to promote this cooperation with Turkey, Wilson noted.
Asked about why the terrorists who crossed into Turkey could not be detected last week, Wilson replied that he could not comment on technical details.
Wilson told reporters that the U.S. had been deeply saddened by the loss of lives in terrorist attack on Aktutun military outpost last week.
