DIYARBAKIR - Turkish interior minister has said two assailants waged the attack on a police shuttle bus in the southeastern province of Diyarbakir on Wednesday, killing four police officers and one civil staff member.
Interior Minister Besir Atalay held a press conference in the province and said it was found out that two assailants raked the shuttle bus with automatic weapons.
Atalay said that 13 of 18 people who were wounded in the attack were discharged from the hospital.
"We strongly condemn this attack and we are determined to continue our fight against terrorism till it is eradicated," he said.
