ANKARA - Turkish President Abdullah Gul on Wednesday strongly condemned the terrorist attack on a shuttle bus in southeastern province of Diyarbakir.
According to a statement released by President`s Office, Gul said driver of the bus and four policemen were killed and many others were wounded in the attack.
Gul said he strongly condemned this ugly attack of the terrorist organization, noting that perpetrators of the attack would definitely be punished.
Separately, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, responding to the questions of reporters, said operations would continue till the terrorist organization lays down arms.
"The incident does not only have security dimension, but also has diplomatic, political, economic, sociologic and psychological dimensions. Government, executives of Turkish Armed Forces, and related ministers will have a meeting on Thursday to assess the matter and the new road map," Erdogan added.
