ANKARA - Turkey`s industrial output dropped by 4 percent in August over the same month of 2007, Turkish Board of Statistics (TUIK) announced on Wednesday.
TUIK said industrial production fell by 5.7 percent in manufacturing industry, however, mining industry showed 8.5 percent and power, gas and water sector posted 3.6 percent increase in August 2008.
