ANKARA - Turkish General Staff said on Tuesday Turkish security teams killed two more terrorists in the Aktutun region.
A statement by the General Staff said security teams killed two more terrorists at Aktutun region at 5:30 p.m. on Monday and they also seized rifles, hand grenades and missiles in the operation.
Security forces earlier killed 23 terrorists in clashes on Friday at Aktutun Gendarmerie Border Unit in Semdinli town of southeastern province of Hakkari.
Operations were under way in the region, the statement said.
Another statement of the General Staff said security forces seized 48 kg of explosives in operations in eastern provinces of Bitlis and Van.
Two terrorists surrendered to Turkish security forces in southeastern provinces of Sanliurfa and Diyarbakir on Monday, it also said.
