ANKARA - Turkish Treasury held an auction on Tuesday to sell 13-month and 20-month discounted bonds denominated in new Turkish lira (YTL).
The Treasury sold 223 million YTL nominal-valued 13-month discounted bonds while the net sale was 181 million YTL in the auction.
The composite interest rate became 20.47 percent, and the simple interest rate became 20.70 percent.
In the auction for 20-month bonds, the Treasury sold 1.1 billion YTL nominal-valued bonds while the net sale was 805 million YTL.
The composite interest rate became 20.60 percent, and the simple interest rate became 22.08 percent.
Value date of the both bonds is October 8th while the maturity is November 18th, 2009 for 13-month bonds and June 23rd, 2010 for 20-month bonds.
