ANKARA - Turkish State Minister Kursad Tuzmen left for the U.S. city of Atlanta on Tuesday.
Tuzmen and an accompanying delegation will hold a series of talks in Atlanta from October 7th to 9th within the framework of a strategy adopted by Turkey's Foreign Trade Undersecretariat in 2006 in an effort to boost commercial relations between Turkey and USA.
As part of his visit, Tuzmen will first attend the inauguration of Turkish American Chamber of Commerce of the Southeast United States (TACC-Southeast) and Istanbul Merkezi (Center of Istanbul).
Tuzmen, who will deliver a speech at a meeting to be held by Southern Center for International Studies on Wednesday, will later attend the opening of the "Turkish Year" at Kennesaw State University.
He is expected to return to Turkey on October 9th.
