BUDAPEST - Turkish Parliament Speaker Koksal Toptan, who paid a formal visit to Hungary upon the invitation of his Hungarian counterpart Katalin Szili, returned to Turkey on Sunday.
Holding a press conference at Budapest airport prior to his departure from Hungary, Toptan said that PKK's recent terrorist attack in Turkey's southeastern Hakkari province was the indicator of a "psychological war".
Toptan said it was significant that such terrorist attack was waged when Turkey brought terrorism to a breaking point and especially prior to the discussion of a bill aiming to extend for another year the validity of a motion allowing Turkish soldiers to stage cross-border operations to the north of Iraq.
"Turkey should not be fooled by such games and it should respond back in order to defeat terrorism," Toptan said.
