Turkish Warplanes Bomb Terrorist PKK Targets In Northern Iraq

ANKARA - Turkish military aircrafts bombed terrorist PKK targets in northern Iraq on Saturday, office of the Chief of General Staff said in a statement.
The military said in the statement released on Sunday that aircrafts belonging to Turkish air forces bombed targets that were identified as PKK terrorists were trying to escape after Friday`s attack on Aktutun Border military outpost in Semdinli town of Hakkari province.
"The planes have all returned to their bases safely," said the statement.
"The operations that were carried out only targeted the PKK/KONGRA-GEL terrorist organization and necessary precaution was shown to avoid civilian casualties," it added.
