UNITED NATIONS - Secretary General of the United Nations Ban Ki-Moon on Sunday condemned the terrorist attack on Aktutun military outpost in Semdinli town of southeastern province of Hakkari which killed 15 soldiers.
According to a statement released by U.N. Press Office Ban expressed his deepest sympathies with the Turkish government and people of Turkey in the face of violence of terrorism.
The statement said Ban wanted continued cooperation between the governments of Turkey and Iraq to address this threat and to promote peace and stability along their border.
