ANKARA - Top Turkish state officials on Saturday expressed determination to fight against terrorism.
A statement released after Higher Board of Counter-Terrorism said heinous attacks of the terrorist organization could not disrupt national unity and integrity, adding that, "fight against terrorism will continue under every condition and influential cooperation of all institutions. The state will continue to implement measures that were taken before."
The statement said, "top executives assessed the recent terrorist activities, mainly the attack on Aktutun Gendarmerie Border Unit in Semdinli town of southeastern province of Hakkari where 23 terrorists were taken out of action, and 15 soldiers were martyred. The executives discussed activities carried out within the framework of fight against terrorism as well as measures and methods in this respect."
