ANKARA - Turkish President Abdullah Gul said on Saturday that cross border operations of the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) particularly in the past one year weakened and demoralized terrorist organization.
President Gul said, "apparently, terrorist organization attacked Aktutun Gendarmerie border outpost in Semdinli town of southeastern province of Hakkari to show that it is still standing erect. I would like to reaffirm that we will continue to fight against terrorism whatever the cost will be."
According to statement published in web-page of the presidency, Gul said, 15 soldiers, waiting the borders in Hakkari, were killed, "Turkey has been dealing with terrorism for a long time. We are closely investigating how this last heinous attack was made, who were the collaborators, and facilitated this attack?" he added.
