Inflation Figures Announced

ANKARA - Turkish Board of Statistics (TUIK) announced on Friday that consumer prices index (TUFE) increased 0.45 percent in September, 2008.
Also producer prices index (UFE) dropped 0.90 percent in the same month, added TUIK.
The annual inflation rate as of September was 11.13 percent in TUFE, and 12.49 percent in UFE.
TUFE increased 6.83 percent and UFE rose 11.48 percent in January-September period of 2008.
