FETHIYE - A German parachutist was badly injured when his parachute was closed down due to wind conditions in Mediterranean town of Fethiye on Friday.
Thomas Manfred Christian (44) jumped from Mount Babadag, at an altitude of 1,800 meters, with his parachute and fell on the rocks due to wind conditions.
Christian was taken to the Fethiye State Hospital in a fire helicopter. He lost his life at the hospital despite the efforts of doctors.
