Turkey - Vietnam Jec 2nd Term Meeting Starts

ANKARA - Turkey-Vietnam Joint Economic Commission (JEC) Second Term Meeting started in Ankara on Tuesday.
Turkish Interior Minister Abdulkadir Aksu and Vietnamese Minister of Trade Truong Dinh Tuyen co-chair the meetings.
Interior Minister Aksu said that Far East was among regions with which Turkey wanted to further improve its commercial relations.
Stating that current economic and commercial relations between Turkey and Vietnam did not reflect real potential of the two countries, Aksu noted that those relations should be further developed.
Aksu stressed that Turkey and Vietnam could cooperate in areas of free zones, small and medium scale enterprises, agriculture, education, sea and air transportation.
On the other hand, Truong Dinh Tuyen said that Vietnam could import iron-steel, chemicals, leather and textile products from Turkey.
Stating that the two countries could also cooperate in tourism sector, Tuyen added that Turkey and Vietnam should form the necessary legal grounds for their entrepreneurs.
